Katelyn Michelle Ohashi is a former American artistic gymnast born on April 12, 1997 in Seattle, Washington. She was a member of the United States national gymnastics team from 2009 to 2013. From 2016 to 2019, she was part of the women’s artistic gymnastics team at the University of California, Los Angeles.

During her time as an elite gymnast, she was crowned champion of the American Cup in 2013. As a college gymnast, she was an NCAA champion with her UCLA Bruins teammates in 2018. That same year she was the national floor champion.

Ohashi is known for incorporating elements of popular dance into her floor routines. In January 2019, she went viral on several social networks for her perfect score of 10 at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge, the fourth perfect 10 floor routine of her career.

Katelyn Ohashi and her coach, Miss Val, were in Monaco for the Princess Grace International Gymnastics Gala. During their visit, they shared an important message with students: it’s time to redefine the meaning of success.

In addition to participating in the gala, Katelyn Ohashi and Miss Val were awarded achievement awards during the Princess Grace International Gymnastics Gala by Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Stephanie.
